Performance Fescue Sod is a 3 way blend of the top turf type tall fescues. Eastgate Sod uses Millennium, Plantation and Masterpiece fescues, all of which were tied for first place in the National Turfgrass Trials. Performance Fescue Sod is netted for easy handling and contains a small percentage of Midnight bluegrass to help fill and thicken the overall mix. |

Performance Fescue Sod Details
3-Way Blend of Millennium, Plantation and Masterpiece Turf Type Tall Fescues. These three grasses all tied for first place in the national turfgrass trials (http://www.ntep.org).
Very Dark Green Color.
Fine Bladed.
Excellent Disease Resistance.
Resistant to most Insects.
Lower growing so less mowing is required.
Contains a small percentage (3%) of Midnight Bluegrass, the darkest Bluegrass available. The Bluegrass helps to fill and thicken the overall mix.
Netted for easy handling.
Available in Standard Rolls (18" x 72") or Big Rolls (24" x 112')
Ordering Performance Fescue Sod
After researching and comparing the different turf grasses available you will conclude that the Performance Fescue Sod mix is the best available for your project.
Measure the area to be covered to determine your square-yardage requirements. Using a tape-measure you can quickly determine the length and width of the area. Multiplying the length and width together will give you the square-footage. Divide the square-footage by 9 to get your square-yardage.

Performance Fescue Sod can typically be picked up at our Batavia or Loveland locations by calling 1 day in advance. Our hours of operation are from 7 am to 5 pm, Monday - Friday. If you are going to pick-up your sod, ordering early in the week will provide the quickest turn-around.
Delivery orders should be scheduled anywhere from a couple of days to a week in advance, depending on the time of year. Orders are filled on an "as available basis".

There are normally 65 yards on a pallet and pallets can be returned for a deposit refund.
